M2M FENDERS UPDATE

March 2011

I am delighted to say that March 2011 has been M2M's best month ever. At long last I feel that all the hard work and effort put in over the last few years is starting to pay off. We have had regular orders through both of our online stores and our new products are creating a lot of interest.
Our exports throughout Europe have continued to grow and we have gained some new customers in Hong Kong and the States, as well as some interest from Malaysia.

New Season Product Lead Times

Well the season is nearly upon us with the first of many sailing regattas getting under way in early April.

With the inevitable rush to get boats and yachts ready in time for the season ahead, I thought it would be useful to give you some product lead times.

Personalised boat fenders: 4 weeks
Plain boat fenders: 3-10 days depending on size and quantity
Personalised fender covers: 3 weeks
Plain fender covers: up to 10 days
Fender Hooks: 4 weeks
Hypalon fenders: 3 weeks
Inflatable PVC fenders: 3-5 days   
  
New Products

We have recently launched a range of anti-chafe rope covers, safety rail covers and guard rail covers. This new range of covers is made from the same soft loop fabric as our fender covers. They are specially designed to fit any size of mooring rope, fender line, safety rail or guard rail. They are quick and easy to fit, non-absorbent, quick drying and stain resistant.
When you renew your fender covers, why not treat yourself to a set of rope and rail covers.

Fender Hooks

March has seen the interest in our fender hooks continue to grow. With orders for our fender hooks for a Sunseeker, a Princess, a superyacht and a classic 1960s Fleur de Lys, our range of fender hooks is expanding.

Hypalon Fenders

Our hypalon fender range continues to attract interest from across Europe. With enquires from Switzerland, Estonia, Italy, France, Spain, Germany and Denmark. Made to order, we have a standard range as well as a bespoke service to meet specific requirements.

Inflatable PVC Fenders

Our inflatable PVC fenders are a stock item. Made from heavy duty PVC, similar to the PVC used in tenders, they are available in grey with a stainless steel D ring at each end and come with a standard 1 year warranty for the seams, which can be extended to 2 years.
While only available in grey, many customers are using our personalised fender cover service and are ordering a set of fender covers embroidered with their boat name made specifically to fit our inflatable PVC range of fenders.
